When I saw this serene space on emmas designblogg, I was instantly struck by how calm and easy to live in it is. Located in Tokyo, it's the home of a Swedish husband and a Japanese wife, and, (as Emma notes) its design effortlessly blends the very similar elements of traditional Scandinavian and Japanese aesthetics into an elegant whole.
