Happy weekend! Hope it's a lovely and relaxing one for you. It'll be fairly a low key one here as Andrew is under the weather, so a couple of days of quiet time are in order, I think — a perfect time to curl up with tea and one of the many lovely books we got for Christmas!
(the beautiful photo is by John Dummer, via desire to inspire by way of oh hello friend)
The elegant Paris home of stylist Marcel Marongiu shows the influence of his childhood surroundings — his father is French, his mother Swedish — with its mix of beautiful 18th and 19th century furniture and chalk white walls. And though the pieces may be traditional, their casual arrangement within the apartment is completely modern — as are such additions as the simple, beautifully billowing curtains and the lovely Indian cabinets and doors. All these elements add up to welcoming and serene space that has a relaxed heart under its beautiful exterior.
