Federico Fellini's brilliant and magical 1963 film stars Marcello Mastroianni as Guido Anselmi, a director whose new project (and life) is collapsing around him. Considered one of the greatest films about film ever made, 8½ "...turns one man’s artistic crisis into a grand epic of the cinema," as the Criterion Collection notes. Hallucinatory and hilarious by turns, it's a must see. More here.
